Thank you Storm Doris. At the start of 2017, I bought a new greenhouse cover and put it on the greenhouse frame. I put my little garlic bulbs in there. I’ve planned what I’m going to grow this year and I’m patiently waiting for March to arrive so I can begin to plant my veggies.
But Storm Doris had other plans for us this week. She literally ripped through the UK with 50+mph winds and rain. It was so windy, that I didn’t know if I’d have a greenhouse at the end of it. And after she was done, I didn’t. My poor little green house was blown from the back of the garden to the front and some of the metal poles were snapped in two. Oh well, time to buy a new one and get planting!
Can you imagine living in a time when there were no antibiotics? You just couldn’t go to your doctor or GP, get examined and then walk away with a prescription to kill those nasty bugs.
What about this….an all natural concoction that could quite possibly compete with the likes of ‘gold standard’ antibiotics used to fight such infections as MRSA.
You be the judge! Let me know what you think!
Kissing feels good right? Well, here is an article that explains why it’s so good for you too!
100% Paleo too!
It was cold outside last night and I wanted a quick winter warmer that I knew the cavebabies would eat. It’s a take on baked chicken but a bit more zesty!
- Olive oil
- Juice from one lemon
- Marinate the chicken in the fridge an hour or two before. Place the chicken in a glass dish. Put a few teaspoons of olive oil in, juice of one lemon, crushed garlic clove and oregano. Mix up and make sure everything is covered.
2. After an hour or two, heat oven to 180c. Take the mixture out of fridge. I like to minimise dirty dishes so marinate and bake in the same dish. Bake for about 35-40 minutes.
3. I served mine over a baked sweet potato. Yum!
The cavebabies love it! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
So, as a good cave mother, I encourage my cavebabies to eat loads of fruit. But they don’t like bananas! Bananas are filled with potassium, they’re high in iron and B6! All of this goodness can help fight fatigue, headaches and yes ladies, pms!
I figured out a way to get them to eat this awesome fruit! Slice it up and sprinkle just a bit of nutmeg on it!
I usually slice up 2 bananas to start with, but then usually have to slice up more if I expect to eat any!
Try it out and let me know what you think!
I came across this article with a few predictions for 2017. Has anyone tried any of these?
