Last night, my caveman said, ‘You know what would be good for breakfast in the morning? And something we haven’t had in a while? A smoothie.’ I completely agree! We’re all about the bacon and eggs and fruit at breakfast, but we’ve been neglecting the humble smoothie. So here is what we had:
Ingredients:
1/2 container of frozen strawberries, raspberries and currants
Handful of spinach
2 cups of green tea (chilled from the night before)
2 Tablespoons of Flaxseed
1 Banana
Directions:
1. Put everything in the blender and blend.
2. Once everything is well blended, pour in a cup.
3. Drink the yummy goodness of the fruit smoothie.
We served it with yummy bacon and eggs…..oh and both of the cavebabies LOVED this smoothie!!! This recipe made enough for 4 people to enjoy.

I tried it very nice but i did put some honey in it to make it sweeter, but very good worth trying 🙂
I’m so glad you liked it! Sometimes I put honey in mine too – just depends on how much sweet I’m in the mood for early in the morning.
I’ve got a very sweet tooth but yeah it depends 🙂
