Roast beef, yorkshire pudding and veg


I love traditional roast meals. Not only do they taste good, bt they are 100% paleo (well, most of the time). I love taking a recipe, like yorkshire pudding, and converting it to a Paleo recipe. The converted recipe is 100% Paleo and full of protein and free of those nasty glutens.

For the roast, I cooked it like you would ordinarily. Put it in the slow cooker, covered the roast with onions and homemade beef broth and cooked on a low setting for 12 hours. Very tender and juicy!

Here’s what you need for the Yorkshire pudding:

3 eggs
3 tbsp melted butter
3 tbsp coconut milk


Preheat the oven to 200C.

Whisk all ingredients together.

Pour into the yorkshire pudding pan and place into the oven. Cook until golden brown. The sides will rise up a bit and form a yorkshire pudding.

Serve your yorkshire pudding with sliced roast beef and vegetables. The cavebabies like simple veg – so we eat lots of broccoli and cabbage. Feel free to serve your family’s favorites.
